Sensor technology developed in-house
DASS combines optics, circuits, materials, mechanics, molds, software and algorithms to develop standard sensors and application-specific solutions.
Technology-driven innovation
Strong R&D capability is the solid foundation for DASS Sensor’s sustained and steady growth. Since its founding in 2017, DASS has always upheld the core philosophy of “technology-driven innovation,” relying on self-developed core optical, material, and algorithm technologies to continuously iterate highly stable and cost-effective industrial sensing products. The core founding team brings together over a decade of R&D experience from leading imported sensor manufacturers such as Omron and Keyence, as well as aerospace optics research institutes. DASS has built a full-industry-chain independent R&D system covering optics, circuits, molds, machinery, and software — catering to both standardized off-the-shelf demands and exclusive customized requirements, with business spanning the domestic automation market and global export trade.
In recent years, the DASS R&D team has continuously broken through industry barriers. Together with Sun Yat-sen University, the company has jointly established the Guangdong Provincial Intelligent Sensor Engineering Center, focusing on tackling two core bottleneck technologies: flexible sensing and optoelectronic chips. DASS has independently developed the MCSOP intelligent full-process manufacturing platform, achieving closed-loop independent production across the entire industrial chain and becoming one of the few original manufacturers in the industry with no outsourced assembly. The long-term operational yield of factory products reaches 99.97%, and the tolerance of mass-produced products is only 5‰ — comprehensive consistency far exceeds that of domestic peers, and products can directly match and replace Japanese and German imported sensors, successfully transforming from an “import sensor replacement manufacturer” into a “smart sensing solution provider.”
A specialized engineering team
DASS Sensor boasts a domestically leading R&D team, with R&D personnel accounting for over 50% of the total workforce, half of whom hold overseas academic research experience. The core technical team is composed of academicians, PhDs, and AI algorithm experts, with profound technical accumulation in optical design, materials science, and intelligent algorithms. The company has jointly established the Guangdong Provincial Intelligent Sensor Engineering Center with Sun Yat-sen University, focusing on two major industry bottleneck technologies — flexible sensing and optoelectronic chips — forming a deeply integrated innovation ecosystem of “industry, academia, research, and application.” While tracking internationally advanced sensing technologies, the team has accumulated rich hands-on experience in industrial field applications, maintained a strong spirit of dedication, and built a highly specialized engineering team across basic research, design application, process manufacturing, and test verification.
Innovation that reaches production
Through continuous innovation investment, DASS Sensor has been recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise and a Technology-Based SME, and serves as a member unit of the Shenzhen Artificial Intelligence Association. The company holds more than 50 utility model and invention patents, and has independently developed the MCSOP intelligent full-process manufacturing platform, realizing closed-loop independent production across optics, circuits, molds, machinery, and software. Backed by strong R&D strength, the long-term operational yield of factory products reaches 99.97%, with mass-production tolerance of only 5‰ — comprehensive consistency far exceeds domestic peers, and products can directly match and replace Japanese and German imported sensors. The full product line complies with RoHS environmental standards, supporting exports to Europe, America, Southeast Asia, Japan, South Korea, and other global markets. Over 3,000 standard models are available for same-day shipment, while non-standard customized products are delivered within 7–15 days.
